The Chinese national authority for certification and accreditation (CNCA) has opened a comment period on a revision draft of the National Administrative Rules for Organic Product Certification. This includes revisions to Chapter Four, “Supervision and Administration of Importing Organic Products.” The revised rules are expected to be issued in the end of 2010 or in the beginning of 2011. The November 2010 issue of the GOMA newsletter will feature additional information on the changes in the import requirements.
