Let the Good Products Flow: conference in February 2012

The GOMA Project announces that it will hold a major international conference on February 13 and 14 at the Nuremberg Messe in  Germany.    Called “Let the Good Products Flow!” the conference will review how organic trade has been affected by multiple standards and conformity assessment requirements worldwide, what has been done in the last decade to address the problem, and identify  emerging issues and opportunities.   Featured speakers include Dr. Harsha Singh, Deputy Director-General, World Trade Association, Kathleen Merrigan, Deputy Secretary US Department of Agriculture,  and Mr. Franz Fischler, President of Eco-Social Forum and formerly Commissioner for Agriculture, European Union.   Registration information for the conference will be available in August.
